Fall/Holiday 2016, WWD

February 08, 2016

We are in love with our Fall/Holiday 2016 collection featuring Alana Zimmer. Special thanks to Martin Lidell, Mattias Satterstrom, Seth Mooney, Mark Edio, Vesper Wolfe, Koen Hendricks, and the TSE team involved: Michelle Robinson and Audrey Ong.

Our WWD Review is up [here].

The Tse design team explored a subtle Space Age theme for fall, continuing with the Sixties influence that manifested in the label’s recent pre-fall collection. Riffing on the details of an astronaut’s traditional spacesuit, knitwear emphasized texture via cording, cross-stitching and three-dimensional wave trims, with one sweater featuring a pattern drawn from the texture of the moon. In a soft, neutral palette with pops of “earth green” and “constellation blue,” silhouettes ranged from ultrafine and body con to chunky and oversize, with suiting and outerwear done in clean, architectural shapes. The collection also showcased a new elongated silhouette, seen on an ultrachic cashmere turtleneck vest — a perfect layering piece for the season.
